FIRST SITE INITIATION VISIT COMPLETED FOR THE HAP-DEX STUDY

On the 12 Feb 2024, the initiation visit of the HAP-DEX study “Dexamethasone for treating severe hospital-acquired pneumonia in critically ill patients with a proinflammatory phenotype, an international phase III, double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized trial” took place in CHU Nantes, France, and was led by Pr Antoine Roquilly.
The second study in the HAP2 project is underway. Around 35 European sites (France, Greece, Spain and Belgium) will recruit 450 patients, enabling the project to continue its quest for greater knowledge of pneumonia.
